In this article, we describe the Social Competence group intervention (SOCO) for children with ASD (Kylliäinen, Helminen & Rantanen, 2016), which was developed to improve social competence through a multilevel approach to rehabilitation rather than simply using social skills training in school‐aged children and adolescents with ASD.
